Hello everyone! My name is Melissa and I am a rising senior at Providence College. Through the kind generosity of the Father Philip A. Smith Fellowship, I will be spending the next seven weeks in Avila, Spain. I will be taking a class on Spanish mysticism at the Catholic University of Avila, beginning an independent research project on the Dominican influences in St. Theresa of Avila’s works, and exploring all that this historic city has to offer!
